Shopfront Design Guide SPD
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets
We have been commissioned by the The London Borough of Tower Hamlets to prepare and design their Shopfront Design Guide, a Supplementary Planning Document, with the ambition for this to be adopted in 2024.
The 'Shopfront Design Guide' aims to help business owners and freeholders who want to make changes to their current shopfront or install a new shopfront.
We have undertaken consultation with businesses in the borough to understand what kind of information and content they would find useful to have in this design guide, so we can create a guide that meets local needs.
To help produce our guide, we’re looking to engage with businesses in the borough through creating a working group. We’d like to speak directly to businesses in this group to find out what they really need to improve their shopfronts.
