Index of Things

For the developer Molonglo, we conceptualised, developed and built a database and website called The Index of Things. The Index of Things is an archive of the urban and architectural design approaches that best capture and convey Molonglo’s principles, sensibilities and interests. From drinking fountains and fireplaces, to ceilings, corners and pluralism, the index is a visual and written guide from which to trigger the imagination of design teams. A library of our approaches to the conceptual and material components that govern the experience of our built environments, it also provides us a repository for the sourcing and referencing of images. It is subdivided into three sections – Design Principles, Urban Elements and Architectural Details.
